This month's challenge in La vuelta al mundo was circles. Although I really wanted to go out and photograph the circles I could find in my town, I couldn't do it :( Every time I saw an interesting circle I wished I had the camera with me....

El tema del mes en La vuelta al mundo fue círculos. Aunque realmente tenía ganas de fotografiar los círculos en mi ciudad, no pude hacerlo :( Cada vez que me cruzaba con un "círculo interesante" deseaba haber tenido la cámara conmigo :(

For today's challenge in Luzia Pimpinella, I chose to post a photo of last weekend.

Para el desafio propuesto hoy en el blog Luzia Pimpinella, decidí postear una foto del fin de semana pasado. 

After a couple of hours thinking if we were going or not, we I decided to be brave and visit the Alster and enjoy the Alstereisvergnüngen (Alster= name of a river- eis=ice - vergnügen=fun/pleasure)

We heard on the radio that it was not a good idea to travel to the city by car. So we went by train and enjoyed the ride so much. I love german trains :)

Before arriving to the station, we were able to see from the train the incredible amount of people standing on the frozen lake. The looked like ants! I was about to say: lets get out of here! but my two boys were really excited and I couldn't do it....

Luego de algunas horas pensando si ibamos a ir o no, decidimos, o mejor dicho decidí ser valiente y aceptar la propuesta de visitar el Alster y poder disfrutar el Alstereisvergnüngen (Alster= nombre del rio - eis=hielo - vergnüngen= diversion/placer)

Escuchamos en la radio que no era una buena idea viajar a la ciudad en auto asi que fuimos en tren y disfrutamos mucho del paseo. Adoro los trenes alemanes :)

Antes de llegar a la estación, pudimos ver desde el tren la increíble cantidad de gente que estaba parada encima del rio congelado. Parecían hormigas! Yo estuve apunto de decir que nos fueramos para otro lugar pero mis dos chicos estaban muy entusiasmados y no pude hacerlo...
